Final Post

Looking back over the last two years of journals, it’s kind of wild to see everything laid out. Two years doesn’t sound that long, but going through all the entries really shows how much time and effort went into this. There are so many weekends and long nights that I almost forgot about until seeing the projects again. It’s honestly hard to believe it’s coming to an end in just a couple of days. At the same time, it’s pretty clear how much I’ve improved just by looking at those earlier projects and where I started. It was a ton of work, but definitely worth it, and I’m glad I did it.

CST 499 Week 15

This week I finished putting together my slideshow for the capstone presentation, including recording and embedding my demo video, so everything is ready to go. I also made solid progress on my Certificate Track Final Reflection paper, getting most of the content written and organized. Next week is basically the finish line, so my plan is to finalize and polish the reflection paper, do a few run throughs of my presentation to make sure timing feels good, and make any last tweaks to the slides if needed.

CST 499 Week 14

This week I studied for and passed the Azure Fundamentals exam, which honestly feels really good to have knocked out. It took a bit of work, but definitely worth it. I also started building out my demo for the presentation so I can get it fully finished and iron out any kinks before recording my video. Next week is the last week of the whole program, which is kind of wild. Can’t believe it’s already the end.

CST 499 Week 13

This week I finished all of the Azure Fundamentals material on Pluralsight and started working through practice tests to get ready for the exam on Friday. I also made progress on the fast.ai course by completing lessons 3 through 5, which has been challenging but really interesting. Next week, my plan is to take the Azure Fundamentals exam, get my presentation video ready, and work on my AWS demo. Right now, the main challenge is making sure I’m putting in enough time on practice tests so I feel fully prepared going into the exam.
